Also, your argument was worthless.
/facepalm - I said TF2 sub-forum, didn't I? And frankly, I gave out no argument, I just told you to read the Steam forums.

Valve listens to their fan-base. I'm sure your letter would be read eventually along with the other gazillion same themed letters ..

G'nite!

I meant your previous one. Is it that hard to understand?

You're dubbing the Halo users as kids. Why is this?
Reading the TF2 sub-forum(s) on Steam forums would guarantee you a couple of laughs and something to think over. Now run along and get me some beer from the fridge, kiddo!
Your argument here is worth *bleep*, and the last sentence doesn't make it any better. I suspect you're using all the jealous SPUF ragers as your excuse here.

I won't send them a bloody letter, because it wouldn't affect the future of Team Fortress 2 in any way.
I say this, be ye redy with good hert
To al my wil, and that I frely may
As me best pleaseth do you laughe or smert,
And never ye to murmur, night or day;
And eek whan I say yea, ye say not nay,
Neyther by word, nor frownyng countenaunce?
Swer this, and here I swer our alliaunce.

This is getting a little out of hand, guys. If you could perhaps just agree to disagree and let this go, that'd be great.

I think its the most pointless argument I've ever seen.

It doesn't make any difference one way or another except in your head.

I recommend everyone keep their thoughts there and just ignore what other people think on the issue because nobodies opinion is going to change on the matter.

We shall do this mano a mano - we'll mud-wrestle. I expect to see at CP_Well this midnight where I shall set up a mud-pit. Be there!

Let me break it down to you - that's bullcrap. [snip]

Doesn't matter. My point was, and is still standing, that anti-halo people and failo-people are arguing about something pointless. It's a -hat-, for crying out loud! Not a level 99 ULTRA OP BANHAMMER OF DOOM. A hat gives no advantages whatsoever!
Besides I'm way better than any hat-wearers in TF2, cause I wear headgear IRL. :P

I put the blame on Valve though. It'd be fine if they didn't give everyone failos, methinks. Of course there'd still be sore whiners, but it's better than an in-game war between anti-haloers and failoers.

They could have avoided this controversy by contacting Drunken f00l, creator of the idle program. He stated on his site that he would remove the idle program if Valve saw it as cheating.
I think valve would rather screw around with the people using it  :-\

DF got Valve's blessing for creating TF2Items.com a while ago.

lol my beard is level 27 :D

I think the reason Valve did that was to stop other third party idlers that might include password scrappers and other nasty thing.  Keep it all focusing with one honest programmer just trying to help people and then shut it down when they work out how.
