ok just a little poll to keep things going which do you own or do you plan on owning any ? i see steam has newly added Guild wars to its games so how many of you think of owning it ? or what are your views ?  ,D

their is a 3 choices to the question so you could of just clicked both dont own gw dont own wow lmao

I own neither, I'm not much of a MMORPG player.  Of the two, I'd probably consider Guild Wars over WoW, as I believe Guild Wars doesn't have any regular fee to pay once purchased - is that correct?

no you dont pay a monthly fee for guild wars and their servers are quite good unlike WoW more so on the fact that they have paying customers who could make it better but choose greed over quality.  strange it does now so no worrys foozy  .D

I play Guild Wars and avoid World of Warcraft, for a couple of reasons. One of the bigger ones is, of course, the ridiculous subscription fee WoW suffers from.

GW: Pretty sweet lookin'.

GW: 20 levels. (Maybe more in the expansions? idk.)
WoW: Up to 80.

GW: Pretty repetitive.
WoW: Extremely repetitive.

GW: Can't jump.

GW: Has 'War' in its name.

GW: Is an MMORPG that will waste your life away.

GW: I don't have a clue who's behind it.
WoW: Was developed and is maintained by Blizzard, and they made Diablo II. Diablo II was win.

GW: I don't think it was based on any other games. It's done very well considering this.
WoW: Is based in the world that several other very popular games were and therefore has a lot of preceding lore and a foundation in gaming history.

That's about all I know, honestly.
I've played/seen them both and lean slightly towards GW. I'm not a fan of either.

I guess this have to do with the amount of people playing it. So in % it would probably be close to other mmos. Cant say for sure tough
