I'm just hoping it isn't expensive, because it seems more like a L4D expansion. Although the dynamics are a little different, it's pretty much the same thing. I'm still looking forward to slamming witches in the face with a frying pan.

i think it looks cheap like somethingout of the ghetto not to mention it looks like it was designed for the xbox and not the pc. i dont hold high hopes on this one.

Ever since I saw the E3 Teaser trailer, I've considered 'Left 4 Dead 2' an expansion rather than a full game. First, it pretty much looks like a major reskin with a couple of new features. Seeing the frying pan gameplay, I feel that opinion is strengthened. Second, it'll be out a year after the original? I will -not- pay full retail price for this, if that is indeed what it will go for- But looking at Amazon.com (Linked to me by a friend), they are having pre-spots for L4D2, with the pricetag at 50$.

Since it looks more like new content rather than a full new game (Feels like Valve jumped on the econimical bandwagon and wants to milk us for the money) I wouldn't be against paying 10-25 bucks for this as a DLC for those who already have L4D.. But if it starts at 50$, I'm not gonna pay up until it goes down- And I doubt even then.

I mean, I'm already attached to Francis, Bill, Zoey and Louis, and now they expect me to develop new affection for new characters? I will also be disappointed if they don't make new Infected rather than the 'new infected' they advertise (Reskins, nothing else).. New sounds for the old infected at the very least, wholly new special infected at the very best.

looks dissapointing, but wait for a few weeks after it comes out and they will put the price down.
unless they show me why its better than L4D, and not just engine updates, I am not parting with my cash. has anyone noticed that on a keyboard the $ sign is above the 4, hold down shift all the way and its L$D.  Sneaky valve.
