A millisecond is a lifetime to a damsel fly, a year seems but a minute to a oak tree, we are what we are prisoners of time we inflict upon ourselves, wishing to change past events merely lengthens the sentence we already impose on ourselves.

I wish wholeheartedly I could go back 4 years and stop what happened to my brother, he was repeatedly stabbed, and for me f**k!! I can't even keep on typing what I wish I could have done to stop it, even though no matter what happened was outside of my control...

It's been six days since it all went wrong. Time is starting to make my life easier. The mornings are the worst, though - I feel like I just want to stand up and lean against the wall.
