What could I say?

Left 4 Dead is sweet. Valve's going to hit to the right nail with this game. What could be better than fighting hordes of zombies with your friends? You can't be an arse and run away alone - you're dead in minutes if you even try. (Unless you play on Easy or Normal, that is.)

So yes, you and your friends must work together. If you're pinned down, it's up to your team to save you. And you simply have to beg mercy if you come across a Tank, a giant mutated zombie. The feel of fighting for your existence is immersive and the game hooks you quickly.

Rengers, Killzone, Nimrod, Overkill and I played the L4D demo over the weekend quite a lot. It was enjoyable, although there are still things to polish. If you're wondering how good the game is, I'll just say that I can't decide between GTA IV and Left 4 Dead anymore. I could buy both, but I don't want to.

Believe me, you can . WHen you just ignore everything in the first level, you can make it to the end withouth killing 1 zombie.

Try to use that technique throughout the whole 4-5 campaigns.

It really depends, if the Director feels like f**king with you and spawns a smoker, you're screwed.

if u try to run away on your own. u will lose if u meet a smoker a boomer a tank a hunter. and u have a very small chance to get away from that. but u could probably do it on the first level with a little luck

Only a smoker might be a problem. Boomer = 1 shot 1 kill, tank = set on fire run ur ass off, hunter = keep running and moving and shoot him, but smoker is basicly the same as the hunter...

Yeah, it is possible to outrun a hunter. But most of the time he attacks you from the back or something like that.

The versus mod is fun. u actually need cooperat while a zombie. like taking most of them down at once. and it is alot of fun killing almost everything with the tank XD.
