Far Cry 2: Burn Africa, burn... \,,/

I tried it, and hated it.
[rant]
It was fun for the first few hours or so, but driving around, doing almost exactly the same missions all the time gets boring quick. The arms dealer asks you to blow up a few trucks driving around in circles. The guard posts at nearly every intersection was annoying as hell! [/rant]

There was some good stuff though. The fire mechanics were fun, and the weapons were great.

Far Cry 2 could have been good, but was poorly executed.

TBH it is very like a more pretty version of Just Cause.

You can only play it for a while and it is a bit of fun to go back to after a break but ultimately pointless doing the same thing again and again with little variation or challenging missions.
