FAR CRY 2 - OUTRAGE?

just me who is annoyed by this?

Far Cry 2 wont be available through steam and D2D outside of the USA so you can only buy it in the stores if you live outside of the USA!

do they want people to pirate it?

Ubisoft haven't been able to relase games worldwide on steam for a while now. It started with assassins creed. Its just some licensing issue. TBH you might aswell get the cd if its a ubisoft game. There not too bad when it comes to drm etc and it'll probz be nice to have the disc.

Though I may have just taken this post out of context so ignore me if I've missed your point :)

I, for one, like to have a physical copy of the games I own. Team Fortress 2 has so far been the only exception.

However... I got to admit I was a bit disappointed when I saw that I'm not able to buy FC 2 on Steam. Why? Usually the games are cheaper for me on Steam. (go USD go... :P) I am rather going to save 49 € for GTA IV than buying FC 2 from a store... One customer less then. Heh.

The problem is it takes ages for steam prices to fall. Call of Duty 4 is still like 60 dollars (£30) if I get it fro ma shop here in the UK its about 16- 20 pounds

You make it look like you want to be cool with piracy. It's not being smart, cause when you wont pay for PC games, developers will never make anymore games for PC.

I'm downloading too, but when there is a nice game (like Team Fortress 2), i will buy it.

For the rest: You can keep that post for yourself. We don't want those kind of posts on the forum, and are almost equal to SPAM.

Pff, why waste money on a game like this when you could get something times as better as this one timer. Have I told you that you technically can't die in FC2?

Waste your money on something that's really worth it; IV and Mafia II in example. These are games that actually put themselves on the 'map', so to speak.

FC2 .. a game which you'll only be playing once .. and for a small amount of time.

As for me, I can't even find a good enough reason to even bother downloading it.
