i bought a bass guitar on friday
it's a white Samick Bass guitar.

anyway, does anyone have any experience with Bassguitars?
if so, do you have some tips for me?

The pickups are a bit weird (the upper 2 just like from a Precision bass, and the 1 under them just like from Jazz bass).

The headstock kind of reminds me a bit of Ibanez guitars ^^


But gotta say, looks sweet ^_^

Sweet bass! I started playing bass guitar about a month ago and I've been playing electric guitar for about 2 years. If you want to learn metal, I'd suggest learning something real easy/simplistic first. Something by Mayhem, like Deathcrush, are great songs to learn for starters.

fingers, and i'm not thinking about picking, because the sound sucks

I'd really like to learn slap bass style, though since i have a 4 string one, it's totally useless....
slap is usually for 5 or 6 string
