My Servers

Hey all, not many of you know me, infact only 2:P my Bro, and a mate of mine, but don't let that put you off, I just tried joining the clan server, but to no avail, needs updating:P

Anyway on to the reason for my post:) I run my own server, used for ermmm games as well as other things:) I currently host 4 separate servers, which are constantly updated as and when steam decides to upgrade, these are all listed within the main server listings and are hosted in the UK on a 2.5MB uplink, the server itself is a dual core, dual cpu Opteron running at 4.2Ghz, so its reasonable for a home machine, the game servers themselves all have the following title

Nucking Futs

And the games themselves are as follows,

Goldeneye Source
Left For Dead
Left For Dead 2
Team Fortress 2  (Currently set to the halloween event, but normally on payload only)

Maddog and Saranday both have full admin for these servers so if you wish anything changed either squeal at me or them:)

I run these for free and they are open to the general public, all have a stats system enabled on them, also now enabled ingame too, you can check your stats etc at...

I also run a TS3 server again please feel free to use it, I'm not sure if NDH do use TS3/2 or even Ventrillo, so again, please feel free by all means to use it, details below, but please stick to the NDH room:) or even the TF2 room, cheers:)

*EDIT* Just to reiterate, this server is based in the UK and is only on a 2.5Mb uplink, so please don't complain if your outside the UK and get 80+ pings, nothing more I can do, and to be bloody honest, I really don't think it's too bad a server considering it's a home server and not something costing £90 a month in some poxy datacentre....

I remember having too pay in excess of £150 a month for a dedicated server that had less than half the specs this machine does:(

*EDIT 2* Just been playing with a fair few people, clan members and non members, with a new mod installed called "popcorn" non stop panty wetting by all:D was really quite fun:D

  I is not a happy bunny atm, some f**ktard has been ip spoofing various other game servers and spamming the hell out of me whilst I have been away at work, not to worry though payback is a b***h, and when I search through the logs, the offending ip will have the favour fully returned... got a good idea which one it is, but I might just go mental and have fun with the lot of them, not when I am at home though, perhaps through some ahem "borrowed" wifi

Iptables fully updated to stop spoof attacks now on the server, so if you peeps have any more probs gimme a squeal:D

Also Pings should be a lot lower now due to newer security measures:D

Hey peeps, I'm trying to get my TF2 server a bit more active, so I'm just wondering if you have any thoughts about fun maps to have in the lineup etc etc, or mods you might want to play, with this being my own server, I have a lot more flexibility as to what can and cannot be installed, so any ideas/suggestions are always welcome:D
