A day to remember..
« on: 02 November 2010, 23:58:39 »
Hey everybody! (hope i'm still welcome here :$ )

Most of you might not know me, but i'm Nevadura. (earlier known as Sprunk or Belldandy back in the beginning of NDH if anyone recalls that :D )

Today i was talking to jarno about NDH and it came to my mind that we should meet once again in a SA-MP server.

And i'm pointing my finger at the golden oldies. (of course the members who i don't know can join too haha)

So bizz, what do you say? are you up for some nostalgic fun?

Oh man, the pre-NDH SA-MP times. Motherload of nostalgia. I think I like the idea, particularly because I'm a golden oldie and I like this title.

Foozy said it. I'd be up for it if I had it. And even then I'm not a 'golden oldie'. o:

I'd rather spend my money on a game I'd end up playing more than once.

And ya that's the expression.

It would appear that Steam agrees with this idea of playing San Andreas - it's gone on sale. :P

Yeah, Vice, GTA3 and San Andreas on sale for about 7€. It includes GTA 1 & 2 as well, but they're already free.

It doesn't work with the steam version.

Grid, would it work with a borrowed version?

then lets all borrow a version, or if you still have a copy lying on the floor, collecting dirt and dust use cillit bang to clean the sh** out of it and install a copy

* Bizzie nods

I'm not sure if you can make downloadable copies (Steam or D2D) of GTA:SA work with SA:MP. The downloadable version of the game is v. 3.0, whereas the original game was v. 1.0. All I know is that newer copies of the game require downgrading to 1.0 - either by using a downgrader patch or doing it manually.
I say this, be ye redy with good hert
To al my wil, and that I frely may
As me best pleaseth do you laughe or smert,
And never ye to murmur, night or day;
And eek whan I say yea, ye say not nay,
Neyther by word, nor frownyng countenaunce?
Swer this, and here I swer our alliaunce.
