3D PC
« on: 22 May 2010, 00:56:59 »
So im going to buy a new pc. A desktop. My plan was to buy a pc with xfx 5870, and a core i7. Im just waiting for it to come on sale. But now its starting to come 3D pc's. Should I wait and buy one of those instead? I think you need a nvidia gfx card, some extra nvidia goggles an some other things, new drivers for the gfx card and a 120hz screen. Maybe games in the near future will be in 3D?

Don't bother accounting for 3D when building a PC.

1) Games built for two-plane 3D monitors won't be developed within the coming few years.

2) When parts/monitors are released, they'll be really expensive at first (perhaps the first year).

They sell it now, but it is not alot to choose
from, it's like one monitor that is 120hz and just one pair of goggles nvidia has released.

hey man
i wouldn't do it.
you can barely see any depth, its not even 3D
they just use the depth perception that you get from having 2 eyes being far away from eachother.
wait until they release a 3D technology where you can actually look behind things on the screen by moving your head.
