If you want an educated guess, SMF update screwed up template and then screwed up form. Be grateful there's still a forum, even with a slightly altered template.

We updated SMF to 2.0 and our old theme wasn't compatible.

That is a standard HTML template. I'm afraid it's not helping us - it would if the year was 1998, though. :P


As the tech-minded have probably figured out, we use SMF as the forum and TinyPortal as the CMS (content management system). However, upgrading to SMF 2.0 made the old layout/style/theme (whatever you want to call it) break. I've looked into the issue and it appears it's not worth it to revise the code for SMF 2's new functions. Yes, it's possible to do it, but not worth the time - unless someone really wants to go for it.

This fact brings us both good news and bad news. I'll begin with the good ones.

We need a new theme. In fact, I've been working on something for a week or two.

The bad news is that I'm rather busy and I'm not a good coder either. Thus, I might need some help.

I didn't check to see what the template type was so bite my shiny metal butt ,D

All I did was a search for tf2 and smf 2.0 themes and that popped up:P I was just too tired to actually check what it was that's all :-[

And I might be able to help out with the code as well, infact my Bro is on doing something very similar on another site atm, I can hear the curses coming from him over ts3 lmao
