New Years' Gaming Night
« on: 14 December 2009, 20:58:34 »
We're planning to hold a small Gaming Night either near the end of 2009 or at the beginning of 2010. Which date suits better for you?

(and thanks for reminding me, Tom. :P)
I say this, be ye redy with good hert
To al my wil, and that I frely may
As me best pleaseth do you laughe or smert,
And never ye to murmur, night or day;
And eek whan I say yea, ye say not nay,
Neyther by word, nor frownyng countenaunce?
Swer this, and here I swer our alliaunce.

Well, that really depends on what time the Gaming Night will be held.

If it's the normal 7PM GMT I'll be able to make it.

Oh bizz dont flatter me.

I would say new years eve and new years day are a no, i can imagine most of us being intoxicated / hungover which would be funny, but not best.

Now that's an idea! :P

The starting time can be decided later; as you know, suggestions are always welcome. I believe it will start around 7 pm GMT though.

Yeah, everyone get those new Demoman weapons, so we could recreate one of those famous Scottish battles, like in that 'Braveheart' movie with Mel Gibson. Just sayin'.

Jan for me, I'll be at my parent house before then with only mobile BB.

I'll be able to play then too but I'd have 150ms ping times.

Not that it really matters because my c, d and a keys have now gone dodgy on my laptop.  Seems the problem is spreading :(

Oh and windows key is completely dead but I don't care about that :D

I should be away from the 26th - 3rd, hopefully. I never get a chance to join in on these things. -____-

Can you remove the keys? Cos I had the same problem and I just took out all the keys and cleaned it. But I dont know if that would be possible on a laptop

How did I know there would be Braveheart references? So many now it's already overused. x.x
We could do more medieval battles. Sword and shield demos vs Huntsman snipers. Could even include more classes depending on how well their weaponry fits in medieval settings. Medic's syringe gun could pass for a rapidfire crossbow or 'Cho Ku Nu', for example. The Blutsauger.. Not so much.

I love you forever, just because you know what a Cho Ku Nu is.
