We are one year old!

Woo hoo! The days of the miracles surely aren't over...

It hasn't been easy. If you think that leading a clan is easy, you're wrong. We have needed to push the clan forward, create content, advertise... Sometimes it feels like a full-time job.

So how did it start again?

Northern Dawn Heroes (first known as South of Heaven clan) was founded in the 12th of May 2007. It was quite a rush. We didn't really have plans about what to do next. It was just a bunch of folks who decided to go their own way from another place...

It has been a long journey. San Andreas Multiplayer, Multi Theft Auto, Digital Paint: Paintball 2, Trackmania Nations, Battlefield 2: Modern Combat... we've been involved with different games more or less. The only real clan games have been San Andreas Multiplayer and Multi Theft Auto, but now we have abandoned them too. It's time to move on to new challenges...

Oh, and how we have created a nice, friendly community! There's absolutely no shouting, flaming, bitching... Everybody knows each other and newcomers are welcomed warmly. That is one thing which I am very proud of. And I am also proud of the great members we have got over here. You guys are loyal and mature people.

Awards

You've (hopefully) been waiting for this. It's time to give out the...

Northern Dawn Heroes Banana Awards!

So here we are, giving out the Banana Awards. It's a nice medal with a picture of... well, I think you guessed it already.

By the way, the clan leaders (Bizzie & IJzerenRita) won't get any awards. We've got enough Merlot wine... Nah, it's just unfair and weird if we give ourselves some awards.

The first award is...

Hero of the Year

And the hero of 2007 - 2008 is...

Alfonzo! He has been in the clan since beginning, and even though he is a quiet person in the clan, he has been loyal and a friendly chap. Great work!





Clan Member of the Year

This is another award which you can proudly show to your friends. They'll be green of anger for sure! (Or green of laughter.)

And this goes out to... Rengers!





Craziest Clan Member of the Year

There isn't a clan without a person who might be mentally ill. And we don't make an exception in this one...

Setä Samuli, this crazy-ass award is waiting for you!






Community Member of the Year

And once again a very good award. Hmm, on the other hand all of these are items which will bring you a whole lot of respect and glory. This, however, is kind of a special award, because clan members did not compete for this.

This guy didn't like our clan at first, but he eventually grew up. Please welcome Rake on the stage! Here's your shiny award... straight outta dishwasher!




Gamer of the Year

This award goes to...

Overkill! He has probably installed and tested more games than anyone from the clan.






Helper of the Year

He keeps saying "dude, wtf". But he has also said "meh". No, wait. He has also said "i'm no n00b, you're a n00b".

So what has that got with helping people? Well, even we don't know. However, even though it might not look like it, he has actually helped us and been there to make this clan to what it is now. Sprunk, here's your award! The drinks are over there, by the way...




Idea Man of the Year

So who has been there with a box of ideas for almost the whole year?

The answer is simple - drpressure, come and grab the award!






Spammer of the Year

Oh no. This award should not even exist. However, it's too late to run away now...

This chap is inactive sometimes, and I hope that he will grab his award before we'll take it away... Jaffakeksi, come and bring some (yummy) Jaffacakes with you! Here's the award.






(Anti-)Worker of the Year

I was originally going to give this award to myself (yes, it's me, Bizzie) but giving an award to yourself is just absurd. Therefore we'll be rewarding the anti-worker of the year!
