Our Team Fortress 2 server is hosted by Rioter, one of our members. It's got 22 slots and it supports replays. The server's running stock maps by Valve.

Q: What is NDH? Just another silly "super leet pwnage" clan?
A: We are a friendly bunch of different kind of people. It makes us very unique compared to other clans or communities. We put the emphasis on having fun together in a friendly, mature community, and we're working hard to offer that to our members and server visitors! Also, gamers of any skill level are welcome to apply for our clan. You don't have to be the best player in the world, because we're especially looking for people, who enjoy playing in a team!

Q: How do I apply as a clan member?
A: Check the instructions from here.

Q: What does it take to become a member in the NDH clan?
A: Good attitude and maturity. Gaming skills are not of our concern, because we encourage teamplay.

Q: Do I need to be a clan member if I want to post in your forum?
A: Nope. Everyone is welcome, no matter are they our clan's members or not! Feel free to join the fun - registering an account takes only a minute or two.

Q: Hey! I like this clan's servers a lot. Is there a chance I could help with funding?
A: Yep! You can donate via PayPal. We have a 'Donate' button at the left side of our site. Click on that for more information.

Q: Why one is not allowed to use rough language (for example, swear) on your gaming servers, despite the fact Team Fortress 2 is rated Mature/16+?
A: Northern Dawn Heroes is offering a pleasant gaming environment. While Team Fortress 2's age rating might be high enough, we bear in mind that online gaming should be fun and enjoyable, and we do not believe constant swearing/disrespecting fellow players is a part of a nice experience.

Q: Does Northern Dawn Heroes play any clan matches? We want to challenge you!
A: We concentrate mainly on public games, but if you're interested to have a match with us, give it a try and contact us either on Steam or the forum!

History

May 2010:
Northern Dawn Heroes celebrated its 3rd birthday.

May 2009:
Northern Dawn Heroes celebrated its 2nd birthday.

January 2009:
Another Team Fortress 2 server is set up.

December 2008:
The clan celebrated Christmas for the second time.

September 2008:
Northern Dawn Heroes started to host a Team Fortress 2 server.

June 2008:
The clan expanded into Valve's Team Fortress 2.

May 2008:
The clan's first birthday was celebrated on 12th of May.

April 2008:
Northern Dawn Heroes shut down its MTA and SA-MP servers.

March 2008:
South of Heaven clan changed its name as Northern Dawn Heroes. Member ranks and clan rules were changed.

January 2008:
The clan expanded into Multi Theft Auto San Andreas: Deathmatch.

December 2007:
Major changes in member ranks. The clan introduced the re-organized clan side and community side.

July 2007:
The clan started to host two SA-MP servers; one serving the racing enthusiasists and the other server running different minigame modes.

June 2007:
The San Andreas Multiplayer 0.2 server was launched together with Bizzie's racing mode. The server had a good success in its first weeks.

May 2007:
The clan was founded by Bizzie and IJzerenRita. We were based off as a fun clan in San Andreas Multiplayer, a multiplayer modification for GTA: San Andreas.

Rules

1. As a member of the Northern Dawn Heroes clan, you represent our image.
1a. A member of the clan should always use the clan tag; | NDH . This helps other members to recognize you.
1b. Clan members must be active. It is advisable to show up, help out, and have fun each week with the clan. Being active on the forum is also recommended.
1c. If you decide to leave the clan, you should inform us about it by creating a topic on the forum.

2. If you are going to be gone for over 2 weeks, post a message about it on the clan forum.
2a. If you don't show up or post any "I am still alive" messages within 5 weeks, you will be taken off the clan roster.

3. Always treat people fairly and act in a civil and mature way.
3a. Racial and/or sexual comments directed at anyone are not allowed.
3b. If a fellow clan member acts inappropriately, report him/her to the admins or leaders.

4. If you are going to change your Steam name or forum name, you have to announce it in a topic.
4a. This rule does not apply when you are changing your Steam name temporarily.
4b. Temporarily means that your name will be different from the last announced name for less than 24 hours.
4c. This rule does not apply for minor changes, such as adding a clan tag and changing the casing. Other changes, such as adding extra words to your name require an announcement.
4d. Impersonating another person is a bannable offense.

5. We are looking for members at least 15 years of age. However, you can apply if you are younger than 15, but will be required to show you are mature enough for the clan membership.

6. Every clan member should attempt to recruit new people to our clan.
6a. If you're going to ask someone to join the clan, be polite and make sure they have good attitude.

7. VAC (Valve Anti-Cheat) bans are punishable by immediate removal from the clan.
7a. Circumventing a VAC ban by creating a new Steam account will also result in an immediate removal.

8. Do not post/give out links to offensive or illegal material on the website.

9. Do not dig old topics unless your reply is relevant to the topic subject.

Breaking these rules will result in a punishment depending on the rule violation's severity.

There are no excuses for breaking the rules. It doesn't matter if you were angry at the time and weren't thinking straight. It doesn't matter if you were only kidding around. If you break a rule, it does the same damage, regardless of your reasons for breaking it, and you will be punished all the same.

As a member of the Northern Dawn Heroes clan you agree to follow these rules in order to ensure fair play and an enjoyable experience for yourself and your fellow clanmates.


Clan ranks

Hero Recruit
Recruit wants to be a member in the NDH clan. Before a Recruit can be a member, he/she will go on trial time, which lasts from one (1) week to three (3) weeks. During this time a Recruit must prove him/herself to be a valuable member to NDH.

Hero
This is the basic member rank in the NDH clan.

Guardian
This rank consists of people who are loyal, active and helpful. Their job is to keep the clan mature, enjoyable and fair.

Super Hero
The Super Heroes make sure the servers are administered and the forums stay informative.

Leading Hero
 NDH's leaders are managing the servers and the website. Leaders also have veto rights in decisions which concern the community.

Becoming a member - three simple steps!
