We've relocated our servers to a more central location in Europe. This allows quite a few of us to have a lower ping to our Team Fortress 2 gameservers.

Popular Maps & Custom Maps will be hosted in the Netherlands, whereas the brand-new Kindergarten server will be hosted in London, UK.

Alas, you cannot connect to the old servers due to the immediate move. Thus, we ask you to add our servers' new IP addresses to your favourites list.

Recently we also had a problem with the Linux version of Source Dedicated Server. The software did not 'announce' the NDH servers to Valve's master server, thus rendering us invisible on the server browser. The problem has been fixed with a rather simple workaround.

Last but not least, Northern Dawn Heroes' 3rd anniversary is closing up. Stay tuned - more information will be posted soon!

As most of you probably know, we were on a lookout for new Super Heroes a while ago. A few applications were sent to us on the forum, and we've promoted three people in the clan.

• New Years' Double Gaming Night
  

Not one, but TWO gaming nights! Remember to bring the eggnog and the swords - this will be an unique event in the history of the clan.

• Last but not least - Merry Christmas everyone!

The first November 2009 Gaming Night was a success. It was the longest Gaming Night we've ever hosted, and it was fun as well. We managed to organize some group activities as well, which was a delightful surprise - at least to the article writer!

In this issue we'll cover up: 

• Rule changes and additions

Nothing stays the same, and that also applies to Northern Dawn Heroes. After meeting up with some of the people in the clan, we've decided on some rule changes. We hope that this will improve the clan and make certain things clearer to our members. After all, clear rules benefit everyone in the clan. Read more about the changes inside this news article.

We've been busy adding new, useless features like this little thing. Don't worry though, someone might find the brand-new Steam profile field very useful. Insert a link to your Steam Community profile and you're good to go!

• Competitive Team Fortress 2 server

As most of you probably know, Northern Dawn Heroes' competitive team (led by Foozy) has achieved success in the competitive side of Team Fortress 2. We've decided to start a practise & match server for their private use.

• October Gaming Night

It's time for another Gaming Night! We're gathering together on Friday 30th of October at 7 PM GMT. This time we don't have any kind of plans for the gaming night. We're going in to have fun with fellow clanmates and enjoy Team Fortress 2!

Mind you, we don't serve alcohol drinks in our Gaming Nights. The cover picture is misleading, but you can blame the clan's very own Bear for that...
